We call for a radical housing movement as part of broader solidarity against austerity.

In particular we call for an end to reposessions and evictions through solidarity between homeowners, tenants, travellers and squatters.

At the moment we see the best way of getting to this stage is by helping to set up local housing action meetings, inspired by the model of London Coalition Against Poverty (http://www.lcap.org.uk) and Bristol Housing Action Movement (http://www.public-interest.co.uk/bham/)

We also think any movement to be successful needs to be open and non-hierarchical. If you agree with our aims, join us! You could write for this blog or out twitter account, and/or join in/set up housing action meetings. Also, take your own action on housing and we will support you!
